More than 40 years of experience in studying and analysing animal models as preclinical tools in Oncology.
Reader at the University of Wales College of Medicine and Deputy Director of the Leukaemia Research Fund Preleukemia Unit. A Fulbright scholar in the laboratories of Nobel Laureate Michael Bishop to develop mouse models of MDS/AML. Consultant Clinical Scientist with the NHS at King’s College Hospital in London establishing their molecular diagnostics program for adult leukaemia. Chair of Working Group on novel therapies of European cooperation in science and technology (COST) action. Prix 2009 Paris-Diderot for Innovation.
Rose Ann has Co-authored 135 scientific publications and is a co-inventor of 4 patent families. Rose Ann obtained a PhD in Genetics from the University of Edinburgh, United Kingdom and was an Associate Professor and has Accreditation to Head Research (HDR) from the University of Paris VII
Thierry HUET, Ph.D. – CEO
Thierry is a seasoned executive in R&D with more than 30 years of experience in the development of therapeutic products in Biotech and Pharma industries.
He managed several teams and led various R&D programs from research to clinic, up to phase III. Thierry successively served as R&D Director of several Biotech companies (Diatos, AbTech Pharma, Endotis Pharma, Invectys and Genomic Vision), most of them dedicated to the development of innovative first-in-class drugs in various pathologies, in particular in cancer. Previously, Thierry managed R&D teams and programs for 10 years at Sanofi (formerly Aventis/Rhone-Poulenc Rorer, France and US) where he led preclinical projects in cancer and AIDS. Thierry is co-author of 20 peer-reviewed scientific publications and inventor of 6 patent families in various therapeutic fields.
Thierry holds a Ph.D. in Virology from the University of Paris VI and conducted his doctoral work at the Pasteur Institute in Paris. He also holds an Executive Certificate in General Management and Strategy from ESCP, a renowned international Business School (Paris).
Pr. Christine Chomienne (MD, Ph.D) – Co-Founder
Over 40 years’ experience in translational research in oncology.
Emeritus Professor of Cellular Biology/Hematology at Paris Cité University, Vice-President of the Cancer Horizon Europe Program for the European Community. Vice-President of the Horizon Europe Cancer Mission of the European Commission.
Previously: Director of Cancer Research & Innovation Programs in France (INCa and Aviesan), former President of the European Hematology Association, former Head of the Cellular Biology Department at Saint Louis Hospital, Paris, former Director of the INSERM U1131 Research Unit at Saint Louis Hospital, Paris. Christine has co-authored more than 260 scientific publications and is a co-inventor of 4 patent families. Christine trained as a Medical Doctor in Hematology at the University of Paris VI and obtained her PhD in Medical Sciences at the University of Paris VII.
Dr. Chomienne is the author of more than 270 peer-reviewed publications and has received several scientific (Academia of Science) and French governmental awards (Chevalier and Officier de la Legion d’Honneur) and the Jean Bernard Lifetime Achievement Award from the European Hematology Association.
Elizabeth Padua (BSc, FCA) – Vice-President and Acting Company Financial Officer
Elizabeth has been a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales for over 40 years and has specialized in fiscal taxation with proven technical skills in management and taxation.
Elizabeth has had more than 25 years of professional experience in chartered accounting firms (Spicer & Oppenheim/Deloitte and Moores Rowland/BDO) and was a Tax Manager (Grosvenor Estates and Marsh & McLennan Companies). She brings her insight, gained from her extensive work experience, to the company. Elizabeth obtained a BSc from Bristol University, United Kingdom and is an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ACA – ICAEW) and is a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (FCA – ICAEW).
